The Webex system is powerful and complicated, and it is a challenge to get everyone connected given the varieties of operating systems, web browsers, and computer ages. To find out whether your system can support Webex, please CLICK HERE and review the requirements. The Webex service we’re using is the Training Center.

We also recommend connecting to the event early if you can, so that connectivity issues may be resolved before the seminar begins.

What time will the online seminar be where I live?

Robert’s online seminars are listed in Pacific Standard Time. To find out the time in your zone, please use this Time Difference Calculator.

How long with the online seminar be?

The seminar will run for one hour. We may start a few minutes late in order to fix technical problems, and may run a few minutes over to make sure all content is covered and all questions have been answered.

What kind of support materials can I expect?

Prior to each online seminar, you will receive an email with seminar notes attached. Occasionally, presentation slides are also available.

Will I be able to ask questions?

Yes! You can type questions into the Chat section at any time, which Robert will review and answer either periodically through the seminar, or all at once at the end.

What if I miss the session, or want to view it again?

Every session will be recorded, and is available to registered participants to view as many times as they wish for 90 days after the broadcast date, whether or not they attend the session. Recordings are also available to those who do not register or attend, for a reduced fee.

Can I get continuing education credits for participating?

Yes! These online trainings have been officially approved by the following for CE (continuing education) credits, also known as CPD (continuing professional development) credits:
BCAPA - British Columbia Association of Practicing Aromatherapists
AIA – Alliance of International Aromatherapists
ARC – Aromatherapy Registration Council

What is “VoIP”? Do I need to download something?

VoIP stands for “Voice over Internet Protocol”, and simply means integrated computer audio, ie a microphone and speaker(s). So, you either have it already, or you don’t.

I still can’t get it to work! What do I do?

If you still can’t connect to a session or are confused about the technical requirements, Webex suggests that you call them directly at 1-866-229-3239 for support.
